اثر یک دوره تمرین کاوتورن و کوکسی بر تعادل ایستا و پویای زنان مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس

چکیده

 
دشواری‌های تعادل در بین بیماران مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس شایع است. هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی اثر یک دوره تمرین کاوتورن و کوکسی بر تعادل ایستا و پویای زنان مبتلا به ام‌اس بود. جامعۀ آماری پژوهش شامل زنان مبتلا به ام‌اس با شاخص ناتوانی (EDSS) سه تا شش بود. به این منظور 30 نفر که شرایط ورود به پژوهش را داشتند، به‌صورت هدفمند انتخاب شدند و تصادفی در دو گروه پانزده‌نفری کنترل و تجربی قرار گرفتند. به‌منظور اندازه‌گیری تعادل ایستا از آزمون تعادل شارپند رومبرگ، و برای اندازه‌گیری تعادل پویا از آزمون برگ استفاده شد. به‌منظور تحلیل اطلاعات از روش آماری تی مستقل و تحلیل واریانس با اندازه‌گیری مکرر با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اس پی اس اس نسخۀ 19 استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد یک دوره برنامۀ تمرینی کاوتورن و کوکسی بر تعادل ایستا و پویای افراد شرکت‌کننده تفاوت معنادار داشت. ازاین‌رو استفاده از این نوع برنامۀ تمرینی برای بهبود تعادل افراد مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس توصیه می‌شود.

Balance difficulties are common among multiple sclerosis patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Cawthorne and Cooksey training on static and dynamic balance of women with multiple sclerosis (MS). The population consisted of women suffering from multiple sclerosis and their disability index (EDSS) was three to six. 30 participants who were eligible to enter the research were purposively selected and randomly assigned to control and experimental groups (15 subjects per group). In order to measure the static balance, Sharpened Romberg balance test, and to measure the dynamic balance, Berg balance test were used. To analyze the data, independent t test and analysis of variance with repeated measures with SPSS 19 were used. The results showed that Cawthorne and Cooksey training had significant differences in static and dynamic balance of participants. Therefore, it is recommended to use this type of training to improve balance in patients with multiple sclerosis.
